Emajee Jones, of Yonkers, died following the crash on Saturday, April 27, when the car she was driving hit a concrete barrier on Trinity Street, police said.

Passengers, including Jones' 3-year-old daughter, another child and a friend were not hurt.

At the crash site, candles in the form of an E have been placed to honor Jones as " loving, caring, full of excitement, and a colorful personality," they said on a GoFundMe post.

"To know her was to love her, to love her you had to take all she came with we would never meet a person like her again she leaves behind a beautiful bright loving child who only knew how amazing her mother really was, losing her really hurt so many hearts," wrote her friend Christian Dee, who organized the fundraiser.

A Whole Foods employee, Jones was known for rapping about her life and what she has been through, Dee asked all to remember Jones in their prayers.
